Nursery

This is where CaveClan's Queens live, and where CaveCan's Kits live until they are old enough to be made Apprentices. Temporary Queens also stay here while they are nursing kits, but they do not have the authority that Nursery Queens have. Cats that are neither Queens, Temporary Queens, or Kits are not allowed in without permission from a Queen. Apprentices are allowed inside this den only if they are cleaning the den.

CaveClan's Nursery is the only den in CaveClan camp that has been dug out instead of naturally found. The Nursery had been dug into the soft earth many moons ago by CaveClan's ancestors--their claw marks can still be seen in the walls. It slopes into the ground and inside there are two thick pillars of earth that support the roof, although now they are more commonly used as scratching posts for Kits.
